*ALL IN THEIR PRIME

1. Georges St. Pierre vs Khabib Nurmagomedov

  • If you are a fan of the sport and you were asked the question “What is your Dream Matchup?” I don’t doubt you would say this fight. St. Pierre is one of the most complete fighters we’ve ever seen step into the octagon. You could also say the same thing with Khabib. Khabib was an absolute monster in the octagon and you can make an argument that he had never lost a round before. Stylistically these two will make up for an extremely interesting fight that many of us wish we had the opportunity to witness.

2. Jon Jones vs. Francis Ngannou

  • Since Jon Jones has moved up to heavyweight this is the only fight that us fans have been talking about. The power of Francis and the skill of Jon makes up for an incredible matchup. Many fans thought that this fight would happen up until the release of Ngannou. It is very unlikely that we see this fight now since Francis signed with the PFL. Although Francis said the PFL is down for the fight, I don’t think the UFC is unless it's under them.

3. Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Cormier

  • Two wrestlers who have unbelievable strength always makes a mouthwatering matchup for us fans. The pure athleticism of a human being like Brock Lesnar is something we will probably never see again. A NCAA Division I National Champion, UFC heavyweight champion, and the youngest WWE champion, Lesnar is truly a special talent. Daniel Cormier on the other hand is one of the more decorated wrestlers and UFC heavyweight and light-heavyweight Champion. These two would make for an incredible matchup.

4. Connor McGregor vs. Justin Gaethje

  • Two of the heaviest hitters the lightweight division has ever seen, this matchup would give people heart attacks. The pure joy and excitement you get from watching just one of these men fight is almost unmatched. Connor arguably has the greatest title performance in UFC history against Eddie Alvarez where he barely got touched. Justin Gaethje has an incredible chin on him and hits like he has bricks in his hands.

5. Israel Adesanya vs. Anderson Silva

  • The two best strikers the UFC has ever seen, we would be in for a treat with this win. The creativity of Anderson and the precision of Adesanya, these two would create an absolute masterpiece. Yes, I am aware that these two have faced off already but that wasn’t prime Anderson. I am sure these two would give us something that we have never seen before and will never see again in our lifetime.
