The UFC has seen many stars take over the company from the likes of Chuck Liddell, Anderson Silva, Conor Mcgregor, and many more. The UFC has big stars even now with the likes of Israel Adesanya, Jon Jones, and now Sean O’Malley. Conor Mcgregor is the biggest star the UFC has ever seen, with Mcgregor likely on his way out the UFC will look for their next “Poster Boy.” This begs the question, who can be that guy?

Out of all the current champions right now I think we can say pretty confidently than Sean O’Malley is a absolute superstar. His personality, skills, and his aura makes him that “thing.” With the right promotion and the right matchmaking I think we can see O’Malley sell a lot of ppv’s well over 1 million. He has that personality that everybody loves and not only that, his fighting style is so fun and unique to watch. With him being newly crowned as champion we can definitely say he will have a fun reign.

In the late 80’s into the 90’s boxing had this mega star. This mega star had an aura where you felt even behind the T.V. This mega star’s name was Mike Tyson. The UFC might have their Mike Tyson with Khamzat Chimaev. Khamzat brings the energy where it feels like he is trying to kill his opponent and make them regret signing that contract. From his look, walkout, to his extremely terrifying fighting style, he is must see T.V. In October he takes on Paulo Costa at 185 pounds for possibly the next title shot. He is one of the biggest and best prospects that we have ever seen. Most people like to call this “Once in a Generation.”

We have seen wrestling absolutely take over the UFC as of recent years and now we finally see one of the greatest collegiate wrestlers of all time in Bo Nickal. Bo Nickal is a 3x NCAA champion and is now 4-0 in his professional MMA career where he has looked amazing. His rise to the top is going to be very special. Some of his teammates including Jorge Masvidal said on an episode of the Joe Rogan Podcast that, “He’s one of those dudes who can go very far.” Nickal has said that one of his goals is to eventually fight Khamzat Chimaev in Allegiant Stadium for the Middleweight championship. I personally don’t think this fight is an “if” its a matter of “when.”

The future for the UFC is very bright. There are so many stars in the UFC, but in my opinion these 3 people that I named have the chance to be global superstars. The UFC is still a very young and has so much room for growth, to say the UFC wont be any bigger than it already is, is a wild statement. Who knows, we might see in a year from now another superstar on the rise. This is what makes the sport of MMA so special.
