(Tyson Pedro VS. Anton Turkalj)
In the light heavyweight division we’re in for a fun one. Coming off a loss Pedro will look to make a statement against Anton Turkalj who is also coming off a loss. Turkalj has faced some of the best prospects though. In his first two fights he fought Jailton Almeida and Vitor Petrino. With this being said Tyson Pedro is a very tough and powerful fighter and we fully expect him to use these.
Prediction: Tyson Pedro via Unanimous Decision
(Justin Tafa VS. Austen Lane)
In this heavyweight matchup we will be watching the rematch. In their first fight Justin Tafa got poked very badly in the eye which stopped the fight. The fight was called a no contest and both guys agreed on a rematch. Austen Lane is a very dangerous fighter finishing 11 of his 12 opponents. 9 of which came in the first round. Justin Tafa however won his last two fights before the eye poke via 1st round TKO. We can expect both sides in this fight. Either they will swing until one of them gets knocked out or they are too hesitant to unload on each other because they both know one punch is all it will take.
Prediction: Austen Lane via 1st Round TKO
(#10 Manel Kape VS. Felipe Dos Santos)
In the flyweight division we see Manel kape take on an undefeated Brazilian Felipe Dos Santos. Before this fight was scheduled Manel Kape was supposed to take on Kai Kara France before Kai pulled out with a head injury. Manel Kape has had a lot of fights canceled in his career. Dos Santos will be making his UFC debut on Saturday so we can expect one of two things. Him being nervous and very cautious or he’s going to give everything he has in that octagon.
Prediction: Manel Kape via 1st round KO
(#6 Tai Tuivasa VS. #7 Alexander Volkov)
We have an absolute banger in the heavyweight division. Tai Tuivasa will look to get back into the win column on Saturday after suffering two losses in a row against Ciryl Gane and Sergei Pavlovich. On the other hand Alexander Volkov will look to make this 3 in a row. In this fight we can expect Tuivasa to go for that knockout very early and use his powerful leg kicks to chop those long legs of Volkov. I expect Volkov to play it safe and use his reach advantage to his advantage.
Prediction: Tai Tuivasa via 3rd round KO
(C Israel Adesanya VS. #5 Sean Strickland)
In our Main Event we see Adesanya take on Sean Strickland. After his fantastic knockout on Alex Pereira to become a 2x middleweight champion we have seen Adesanya turn into an even bigger superstar than he already was. Strickland is outmatched in every single way this fight and the only way we can see him winning is if he tries to grapple with Adesanya. This has been the game plan for every challenger though who faces Adesanya, and damn near all have come up short.
Prediction: Israel Adesanya 2nd round KO
