What’s Next For Stylebender

After this weekend there’s a lot of questions to be asked. One of them being what’s next for Israel Adesanya. We witnessed one of the greatest upsets in UFC history when Sean Strickland beat Adesanya for the Middleweight championship.
One option we can see is a rematch between these two, but in my opinion I don’t think it is deserved in this case because there wasn’t really a round where Adesanya showed that he was the better fighter. Even in their closest round we could’ve easily scored it for Strickland.
The next matchup in my opinion that makes the most sense is have Izzy face the winner between Khamzat vs. Costa. This makes sense because this will be Khamzat’s first time facing a ranked opponent at middleweight and for Paulo it could be his time to seek revenge.
In this fight Adesanya looked slow and unable to land his punches which is very unusual as he is one of the most accurate punchers we’ve ever seen in the sport. But I believe this is due to Sean Strickland unusual defensive style. He is known for rolling and parrying every shot and not only did he do that he controlled the distance way better than anybody could imagine.
